The Gleaning Table is in the fellowship hall through Oct. Everyone is welcome to bring in extra garden produce and canned goods. If you need something, feel free to take what you need. All extras will be taken each Tues to the HS Food Pantry. 

 

Volunteers are needed for the Farmer’s Market prayer booth on October 5 from 9 am – noon. Contact Holly Cotton if you can help.

 

Oct 6 – There will be a signup sheet in the pass-through for those willing to help with the Follow the Star event on 12/21/24, as well as a bulletin insert with more information.  Please consider helping with this new community outreach.  Contact Bobbi White for more information.

 

Oct 6 – There will be a sign-up sheet in the pass-thru for women to help with the Women’s Gala. The gala will be held December 14, 2024. We need women to help plan the program, sell tickets and women to host tables at the gala.

 

Oct 6 - There will be a sign-up sheet in the pass-thru for those interested in Silver Belles. Silver Belles is a program for women to get together for fellowship. If you are interested, please sign up, this does not commit you to anything. There will be an organizational meeting in early November.

 

Oct 6 - Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes Collection Oct. 20 – Nov. 17. Start shopping now! Check out the display in the Youth Office window, in the Fellowship Hall for ideas for your shoebox.

Oct 13 – Sunday Potluck   This month we’re having a theme luncheon of chili.  For planning purposes, we’d appreciate it if you’d sign up this week (9/29) or next (10/6) for what you’d like to bring: chili, toppings, cornbread, salad, or dessert.

 

Oct 19 – Funeral Service for Laura Clark – Saturday, October 19, 10:00 am, SHEF Church.
