Mission at Oyate

Oyate Concern is a ministry to the Lakota people of the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. The ministry is located in the village of Oglala, SD. The ministry desires to share the love of Jesus Christ through meeting physical needs, giving practical training and hope for the future, education and other avenues. Southern Hills Evangelical Free Church has recently become involved with Oyate Concern. They provide us the ability to help with a mission project in our own backyard. We have had the privilege of helping with the school and some of their outreach programs. In the future (hopefully this June!) we would like to be able to send some work teams to assist in the construction of a new school building.
