BLT

Body Life Teams (BLTs) are small groups that meet at different times and days during the week, in a variety of locations in the community.
Why get involved? Two good reasons:
In-reach:
- Get to know one another better and develop closer relationships.
- Build a strong personal support network within the larger structure of the Church.
- Learn about a variety of interesting and important topics.
Outreach:
BLTs are a great way for others who are not yet believers (and may not be ready for Church attendance) to become socially involved with a group of loving Christians.
Flexibility
There are BLTs that meet year round, and others for only a few weeks. Some are only for men or for women. Most BLTs are for mixed groups. Some BLTs are more oriented toward a traditional bible study, some are more topic oriented. Usually there are refreshments of some kind (although not actually BLT sandwiches). BLTs are flexible enough to meet the scheduling needs and interests of almost anyone.
BLT Participant Feedback:
The ‘Lord, Change My Attitude Before It’s Too Late” BLT was eye-opening for me. I hadn’t realized how damaging my little negativities can be. Thankfully, the author supplied positive replacements for the negative attitudes.”
We started in some BLTs when we first began attending Southern Hills E. Free. It was a really good way to meet people. We have developed some great friendships while growing in our relationship with God.”
Having participated in the BLT groups has been the beginning of my path to spiritual growth. I have gained strength to go forward with the support of my BLT, transforming my life through Jesus. Along the way, I have met new people and cherish the friendships I have made through them. It is really a church family. I praise the Lord for this church.”
